This is something the Cowboys probably discussed during the bye, and OC Jason Garrett may change. Miles Austin, by the way, is leading the team in red-zone targets with four over that span.

Jason Witten - TE - Cowboys Jason Witten has been targeted 13 times on third down by Tony Romo and has converted all 13 into first downs.
Witten has been making the clutch play but still can't find that "big" play, as he is only averaging 8.9 yards per catch. He does lead the team with 44 catches, but his longest has gone for just 22 yards. Witten and the 'Boys are in Green Bay this week, the site of Witten's first career 100-yard receiving game in 2004. Witten's injury is being described as a sprained foot. The return to practice would seem to be a positive sign, but Phillips said he's "a little bit worried" about Witten being able to play. Considering Witten's history, which includes playing through a painful broken rib, we're optimistic that he'll be in the lineup Thursday afternoon. If not, Martellus Bennett would be a viable fantasy play against the Raiders.

It's just unclear how healthy Witten is and we'd still double check the pregame inactives. Foot sprains are often multi-week injuries. He isn't running downfield routes this season, and any lower-body injuries will further discourage playcaller Jason Garrett from using Witten as a seam stretcher. As usual, Witten will probably catch 3-5 balls around the line of scrimmage and block when the Cowboys are in goal-to-go situations.
